What is the difference between Arabica and Robusta? | Barista & Espresso

Arabica and Robusta are the two most common types of coffee. Arabica is sweeter, milder and more aromatic, while Robusta is stronger, bitter and contains more caffeine.

What is Arabica?

Coffea Arabica, often referred to simply as "Arabica", accounts for around 60-70% of the world's coffee beans. It is grown at high altitudes (600-2000 meters above sea level) and thrives in cooler climates with stable rainfall.
