Leon Foo already had extensive experience with specialty coffee in Singapore and Malaysia, where he had been working since 2009 to develop coffee culture through PPP Coffee and the Chye Seng Huat Hardware café. During meetings with manufacturers in Taiwan, he met Bowen, who ran his family’s manufacturing business and worked with precision equipment for coffee projects such as Acacia and Hiroia. That meeting marked the beginning of Morning.
