Puly cleaning for espresso machines

Italian cleaning solution for brew groups, milk systems, and work surfaces.

A brand built on maintenance

pulyCAFF® has been developing cleaning products for espresso since 1961, when the brand created the world's first product specifically developed for cleaning espresso machines. Its roots lie with Asachimici, whose history began as early as 1890 with Giovanni Carubelli's small soap factory and continued through several generations of developing more effective cleaning solutions. As demand from the espresso market grew, Giancarlo Carubelli recognized that the same chemical expertise could be used to solve a specific problem in the coffee bar: fine particles and grease that clogged valves and filters and impaired the machine's performance.

This series clearly reflects its heritage. The range is divided according to where cleaning is needed: inside the machine, in the milk system, and on the surrounding work surfaces. For home use, the choice is often about a convenient format that fits your routine, while cafés, restaurants, and offices more often need solutions that work quickly, consistently, and at higher volumes. What these products have in common is that they are designed for ongoing maintenance to help equipment operate more cleanly and coffee taste as it should.

For brew groups and filters

Here, you mainly choose between powder and tablets. Powder is suitable if you want to measure freely in a traditional espresso machine, while tablets provide a quicker and more consistent process when several cleaning cycles need to be performed in succession.

For home use

A simple basic routine goes a long way: keep the brew group free from coffee oils and particles for a more consistent flavor and a machine that is more enjoyable to use over time. A smaller format is often best when consumption is low but regular.

In cafés, restaurants, or offices, cleaning needs to be part of the daily operation. It is therefore important to cover espresso equipment, milk handling, and contact surfaces so that the equipment remains in good condition throughout the working day.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions that most often determine which cleaning product you should choose.

What is the difference between machine cleaning, milk cleaning, and surface cleaning?

They are designed for different parts of the coffee environment. Machine cleaner is used for the brew group, filter, and Portafilter, where coffee oils and particles build up. Milk cleaner is intended for steam wands, milk frothers, and other parts that come into contact with milk. Surface cleaner is used externally on worktops, machine surfaces, and other contact surfaces around the serving area.

How do I choose between the different Puly CAFF Plus formats?

Choose according to your machine type and workflow. A smaller powder format is often suitable for home use or lower consumption. A larger powder format is suitable when you clean more frequently and want to refill less often. Tablets are a good choice when you want quick and consistent dosing, especially in environments where several users operate the same machine or where superautomatic machines are used.

Is the range suitable for both home and professional environments?

Yes. The range meets needs from home baristas to cafés, restaurants, and offices. The main difference is which format and which part of the equipment you need to clean: smaller packages and simple routines for home use, larger volumes or more standardized dosing for businesses with heavier workloads.
