Eureka coffee grinders

Italian grinder expertise since 1920.

About Eureka and how to choose the right one

Eureka has been working with coffee grinding since 1920 and was founded in Florence by Aurelio Conti. The company began as a manufacturer of grinders for espresso and has spent more than a century building its reputation around the same core values: precise grinding, reliable performance and long service life. The grinders are still hand-assembled in the Florentine factory, where industrial production meets traditional craftsmanship. This is reflected in a range that maintains a consistent feel and build quality while remaining clearly divided according to how and where you brew.

For home use, the main difference is between compact espresso-focused models, all-purpose grind and a dedicated brew focus. The Eureka Mignon range suits those who want a small footprint and clear control at the kitchen counter, while Eureka Atom offers a larger format, greater capacity and a calmer workflow for those who make many espressos or want more everyday flexibility. For commercial use, the priorities are different: larger burrs, higher capacity, faster servicing and features that make long shifts easier. This is where the Atom models for smaller-scale service become a natural step up, while Prometheus is more clearly built for cafés, restaurants and professional operations. The collection also includes complementary station tools, such as a scale and automatic Tamper, for anyone who wants to build a more complete workflow at home or behind the bar.

Atom format for precise home dosing

Eureka Atom W 65 Casa is for you if you want grind-by-weight precision at home but do not need the size and capacity of the more service-oriented 75 mm models. It is a strong choice for espresso-focused home baristas who want a more premium workflow than the smallest kitchen models offer.

Eureka Mignon Filtro is the clearest choice for those who are not building their station around espresso. It has a simpler setup, without a display or dose counter, and is primarily aimed at home use when you want to grind for brew coffee, pour-over, or French press in the same compact form factor as the rest of the Mignon family.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the most common questions when choosing between the series and considering whether the grinder should be placed at home or in a business.

What is the most important difference between Eureka Mignon, Eureka Atom and Prometheus?

Eureka Mignon is the most Compact-built series and is primarily suited to home use, whether you want a simple brew grinder, a classic espresso grinder or a more advanced model with weight-based dosing. Eureka Atom is the next step up in Size and capacity, with models that work very well at home but can also handle smaller service operations better. Prometheus is clearly positioned on the professional side, with higher capacity and features that are more relevant in cafés and restaurants.

What is the most important difference between Eureka Mignon, Eureka Atom and Prometheus?
Should I choose a model for home use or a more commercial solution?

For home use, it is usually best to start with how you brew: espresso every day, both espresso and brew, or mainly filter coffee. In that case, Size, workflow and dosing method are more important than maximum capacity. For smaller service operations or cafés, you should instead prioritise faster grinding, larger hoppers and a setup that keeps pace during service. If you make many cups in succession or want to reduce manual work, the larger Atom models and the clearly commercial alternatives are a better choice than the most Compact home models.

Should I choose a model for home use or a more commercial solution?
When is weight-based dosing the right choice?

It is best suited when you want a more consistent dose without weighing each shot separately. At home, it is often appreciated by those who want to simplify their routine while maintaining high precision. In smaller service operations, it can also be valuable for producing more consistent results across many brews. However, if you prefer to work dose by dose with different beans, or want a simpler setup, manual dosing or traditional programming may be a better choice.

When is weight-based dosing the right choice?
Is there anything in the collection besides grinders?

Yes. There are also complementary tools for the workstation. An automatic Tamper is suitable if you want a more consistent and faster tamping step, especially in a more repetitive espresso routine, while a digital scale is a natural addition if you want to monitor dose and extraction more closely.
