Instructions

Daily procedure for backflushing each group head:

  1. Remove the coffee filter from the group handle and replace it with a "blind filter".
  2. For daily cleaning, add 1 scoop of Espresso Clean® to the group handle and insert as About you brew espresso. If About the machine is cleaned less often, use 2 scoops.
  3. Start the brewing process and let it run for 10 seconds to dissolve the cleaning agent.
  4. Stop the machine for 10 seconds.
  5. Repeat start and stop 4 times – run for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds.
  6. Remove the handle and rinse the blind filter under running water from the machine. Turn off the water.
  7. Reattach the handle with the blind filter, start and stop the machine 10 times – run for 5 seconds, stop for 2 seconds – to ensure proper rinsing. Remove the blind filter and insert the regular filter.
  8. Brew and discard an espresso shot before you can start brewing as usual again.

Daily Cleaning

  1. Soak the group handles and filters in 500 ml of hot water with 2 scoops of Espresso Clean® for 10 minutes.
  2. Rinse thoroughly with hot water.
