Here comes a taste guide from Gringo Nordic Roasters one of our favorite coffee roasters.

"In freshly roasted coffee, there can be up to 1000 aromas. To guide you correctly among all our coffees, we have divided them into four flavor categories to help you find your favourites." - Gringo Nordic

1. SOFT AND ROUND

Welcome to the soft and gentle side of coffee. Here you will find a coffee that lacks pronounced fruitiness and acid, but is instead filled with sweet flavors such as chocolate, caramel and nuts. The coffee has a medium body that is perfect for brewing in an espresso machine, or to be enjoyed with milk. To get the best out of the coffee, you will experience a mild and pleasant taste that fills your mouth and will make your coffee session even more pleasant.

Flavor notes: chocolate, caramel and nuts.

Recommended beans: Daily espresso, Radical espresso 

2. FRUITFUL AND TASTY

In this category of coffee you will find clear fruit aromas with a high fullness. In addition, you have a pronounced sweetness that gives a long aftertaste. To get the best out of the coffee, you will experience flavors such as tropical fruit, cherry, strawberry, blueberry and vanilla. These flavors will fill your mouth and make your coffee session even more memorable.

Flavor notes: tropical fruit, cherry, strawberry, blueberry, vanilla.

3. FRESH AND ELEGANT

4. SPICY AND FULL

If you are looking for a powerful coffee that has a full character, as well as a roasted taste, then this is the category for you. The spiciness you find here is a characteristic that comes mainly from Sumatra and India. When you enjoy this coffee, you will experience flavors such as dried fruit, dark berries, dark chocolate, cedar and tobacco. These flavors will fuse together into a powerful and aromatic experience that you will remember.
