Acme Taster Cup for cupping and serving

Designed for the cupping table, built for home and café use.

Designed by coffee professionals for everyday use

The Acme Taster Cup was developed for cupping, but quickly became popular far beyond the cupping table. The range combines thoughtful functionality with durable porcelain and space-saving stackable storage, making the cups equally useful in home kitchens and cafés. The deeper shape was designed to give coffee particles plenty of room to settle at the bottom, making the tasting itself cleaner and easier.

Here you'll find Sizes for both home use and professional service. The smaller formats are ideal for serving espresso or smaller milk drinks, while the larger ones work equally well for latte, filter coffee and other servings where a little extra volume makes a difference. The entire range shares porcelain construction, a stackable design and cups sold in packs of six.

Two smaller formats with different roles

Both are easy to set out in multiples, but they serve different purposes in everyday use. Choose based on the size of the drink and how broad a range of uses you want.

Mini

The larger models provide more room in the cup and are ideal when you want to move beyond pure tasting to broader use in a bar, kitchen or serving environment.

Tall White

260 ml · 82 mm high. A good choice when you want extra depth in the cup for cupping, but also a size that works beautifully for latte and filter coffee.

When the same cup needs to work for everything from coffee to dessert and simple food service, the larger capacity is a practical choice, especially in settings where fewer formats need to cover more needs.

Smart in small spaces

The stackable shape makes the range easy to organize in drawers, on open shelves and behind the bar. For cafés, this means faster picking and less space required; at home, it makes it easier to keep several cups close at hand without making the kitchen feel crowded.

Built for frequent use

Acme follows a clear idea of everyday objects that should last over time and earn their place on the table. This is evident here in the robust porcelain, clean lines and a shape designed for frequent use rather than simply looking good on the shelf.

Frequently asked questions

Here you will find brief answers to make it easier to choose the right model.

Which Size should I choose?

Choose primarily based on how the cup will be used. Mini is best suited to Espresso and other smaller coffee drinks. Medium is the most versatile choice if you want to use the same cup for cupping, cappuccino, latte and filter coffee. Tall offers more depth and is well suited when cupping is the focus but you also want to serve larger drinks. Large is best when you want the greatest capacity and a format that also works beyond coffee, for example for dessert or simple serving.

What is the difference between Tall White and Tall Black?

The Size is the same: both hold 260 ml and have the same Tall format. The difference lies in the finish. The black version has black glaze inside and out and is designed for those who prefer a more neutral visual impression during cupping, while the white version has a classic look that suits a wide range of serving occasions.

Are the cups only suitable for cupping?

No. The range was developed with cupping as its starting point, but today it is used much more broadly. Depending on the Size, the cups work for Espresso, latte, filter coffee, hot chocolate and tea, while the larger models can also be used for dessert, soup or small bowls.

Are they suitable for home use or mainly for cafés?

They suit both. For professional use, the stackable shape and durable porcelain are practical for service and storage. At home, the same qualities are valuable when you want cups that feel thoughtfully designed, take up little space and withstand frequent use.
