Tajimi Cups & Tumblers – Japanese craftsmanship for every occasion

Tajimi Cups and Tumblers combine traditional Japanese porcelain craftsmanship with a clean, functional design that suits every moment of everyday life.

They are made from high-quality, durable porcelain that helps drinks retain the right temperature for longer. Cold drinks stay refreshingly cool, while coffee, tea and other hot drinks retain their warmth for longer. The matte exterior provides a pleasant, tactile feel in the hand, making the cups as comfortable to use as they are beautiful to look at.

When the original Tajimi Cups were developed, the aim was to create a versatile design that combines timeless character with a modern expression. Elegant yet practical, they are equally suited to Specialty coffee and green tea as they are to wine. The compact design also takes up minimal space on the kitchen counter – something that is fully in line with Acme’s experience from the café and restaurant industry.

The success of the original cups led to the range being expanded with Tajimi Tumblers. With their versatile design, they are equally well suited to iced latte and cocktails as they are to G&T, sake, beer and brewed coffee.

Made in Japan’s ceramic centre

The Tajimi range is made in Tajimi, a city with a long and well-known tradition of porcelain and ceramics. Tajimi is often called Japan’s ceramic capital and has been a centre of Japanese ceramic production for generations.

The cups and tumblers are made in collaboration with Maruasa Porcelain Factory, a family-owned company with more than 100 years of experience in traditionally crafted porcelain. The combination of traditional manufacturing methods, precision and a strong focus on quality makes Maruasa an ideal partner for the Tajimi range.

For both hot and cold drinks

Each tumbler has a matte exterior with a pleasant, tactile surface and a glazed interior that provides a smooth surface for pouring and drinking. The durable porcelain also has good heat-retention properties and helps drinks maintain their desired temperature for longer.

The 330 ml Tall Tumbler is particularly well suited to cocktails, long drinks and beer, while the compact, stackable 240 ml Short Tumbler is perfect for G&T, muddled cocktails and brewed coffee.

Tajimi Cups and Tumblers are individually packaged and available in Europa and New Zealand. They are an excellent choice for anyone who appreciates thoughtful design, genuine craftsmanship and the feeling of making every drinking occasion a little more special.
