Tajimi Cups & Tumblers are ACME’s interpretation of Japanese porcelain craftsmanship: stylish, functional and made for frequent use. ACME comes from the specialty coffee world and designs products for everyday rituals, guided by the clear idea that well-made objects should last a long time, work harder and earn their place on the table. Here, experience meets production in Tajimi, the city often called Japan’s ceramic capital, where the series is made together with the family-owned Maruasa Porcelain Factory, which has more than 100 years of experience in porcelain.

All pieces are made from Japanese porcelain with a hand-polished matte exterior and glazed interior. The material helps drinks retain their desired temperature for longer, while the surface feels comfortable in the hand. The formats are designed for both home and professional service: compact enough to take up little space, robust enough to create a consistent look in six-packs, and versatile enough for coffee, tea, wine, iced latte, cocktails, beer and other drinks where you want the same series to carry you through the entire day.

What is the difference between the cup and the tumblers?

The cup is the series' 300 ml format and suits those who want a more classic feel for coffee or tea. Tumblers have a more pared-back look without a cup shape: the short 240 ml model is the most Compact, while the tall 330 ml model offers more room for ice and longer drinks.

Are they suitable for both home and professional serving?

Yes. The series was developed with ACME's background in the café and restaurant world in mind, but works just as well at home. The uniform 6-packs, durable porcelain construction and space-saving formats make them easy to use in both settings.
