ACME Taster Large 310 ml is the largest cup in the Taster series. It is designed for cupping but works just as well for latte, ice cream, soup, or smoothie bowls. The shape is deep and balanced, providing a pure taste experience and high user-friendliness.
ACME Taster series
ACME developed the Taster series to improve how coffee is tasted. Deeper cups allow the coffee grounds to settle at the bottom, so only the liquid is tasted. The result is clearer aromas and better control during cupping.
Thick-walled porcelain retains heat longer. The stackable design saves space. That is why Taster cups are used by cafés, baristas, and coffee enthusiasts worldwide.

How to do a cupping
1. Add coarsely ground coffee to the cup
Use about 8–9 g of coffee per 150 ml of water.
2. Pour hot water
The water should be around 92–96 °C.
3. Let brew
Let the coffee steep for 4 minutes without stirring.
4. Break the surface
Gently break the coffee crust with a spoon and smell.
5. Skim off
Remove the floating grounds from the surface.
6. Taste
Taste when the coffee has cooled slightly. The grounds should remain at the bottom.
