Care Instructions

Before first use, we recommend hand-washing the bean container, holders, ground coffee container, lid, and cleaning brush in warm water with mild detergent and drying the parts thoroughly. Wipe the exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

For regular cleaning, empty the bean container, grind out remaining beans, and always unplug before cleaning. The bean container and ground coffee container are hand-washed, rinsed, and dried completely. The base, cord, and plug must not be submerged in water, and no parts should be washed in a dishwasher. Also avoid alkaline or abrasive cleaners, steel wool, and coarse sponges.

To clean the grinding mechanism, remove the bean container, run the grinder empty, take out the upper burr, and brush clean the upper burr, lower burr, and outlet with the included brush. Then reassemble the grinder. One thing to keep in mind: this model offers a lot of control, but it performs best when you also clean the grinding mechanism regularly.
