The story behind THE HOBO - 500g

The Hobo is our darkest and most uncompromising espresso blend – created for those looking for a solid, rich and bitter coffee with a big body and a clear roast profile. A blend that stands firm in the cup – and lasts all the way.

The beans come from powerful origins in Brazil, India and Indonesia, carefully selected for their robust flavour characteristics. We roast them long and extra dark to highlight a flavour profile with nuttiness, dark chocolate and deep aroma – without losing balance or structure.

This is a espresso which both stands on its own and holds milk perfectly. A espresso with attitude, intensity and craftsmanship in every sip.

1. Blend & origin

The Hobo consists of a dark and powerful blend:

– Brazil Fazenda IP Acaia Natural

– Brazil Irmãs Pereira Yellow Bourbon Natural

– India Monsoon Malabar

– Indonesia Kerinci Natural

The Brazilian base provides fullness and sweetness, while Malabar and Indonesian naturals add earthiness, spiciness and complexity.

2. Roasting

Long and extra dark roast, designed to build body, bitterness and power. The result is an earthy espresso with great roundness, clear aroma and long, nutty aftertaste.
