Tossa Rossa is our tribute to Southern Italy's espresso culture - a coffee where strength, body and bitterness are as important as crema. Roasted by Björklunds Kafferosteri in Sweden, this is an espresso blend for those who want a lot of pressure in their cup.

The name Tossa Rossa, meaning “the red rock”, reflects the rustic and intense character of the coffee. This is a coffee with a clear robusta profile, where classic notes of cocoa, spices and bitterness give a espresso with a long aftertaste and compact crema.

Perfect for those who love Italian espresso without compromises – whether you brew with an espresso machine, moka pot or fully automatic coffee machine.

The coffee process

1. The mixture

Tossa Rossa is made up of 70% Arabica and 30% Robusta – carefully balanced to create both depth of flavour, crema and intensity. The Arabica provides sweetness and structure, while the Robusta adds power, bitterness and an extra kick.

2. Roasting

Roasted like a dark Italian espresso, with a long development in the roast profile to highlight the roastiness, spiciness and cocoa tones. A flavor profile that stands out – in classic Southern European style.

3. Recommended brewing

Tossa Rossa is only available as whole beans, to preserve aroma and freshness until Grind. Recommended for espresso machines, moka makers or fully automatic brewing.
