Björklunds Kafferosteri is a small-scale specialty coffee roastery in the heart of Västmanland, with production in Västerås. We roast the beans locally in small batches and create flavor profiles with precision and craftsmanship. Transparency, quality and passion for the craft are at the center of our business.

Our story

Behind the roastery is Johan Björklund – coffee roaster, entrepreneur and passionate coffee lover with roots in Västerås. After over 20 years in the restaurant industry and a deep foundation in coffee culture, he started Björklunds Kafferosteri in 2013.

Inspired by a 100-year-old artisanal tradition and a love for quality, Johan roasts coffee with both heart and brain – always fresh, local and with respect for the raw material. The vision is to deliver a taste experience that honors both the coffee farmer and the customer.
