Product description

The Eureka Mignon series is the most popular series from the Italian coffee grinder manufacturer. Now they have released a new model, Mignon Zero, focused on coffee enthusiasts who want to single dose the coffee beans before each brew. The grinder can grind from French press, brew, espresso, to Turkish coffee thanks to its stepless grinding adjustment. The grinder has 55 mm flat hardened steel burrs. The bean container holds approximately 45-50g and has a rubber seal around it to be able to blow out the last coffee when single dosing. The quality is excellent with only high-quality components. The case is made of aluminum and steel and comes in either matte black or chrome. With the purchase, you also get a container to grind the coffee into that fits a 58 mm portafilter. It is also possible to grind directly into the portafilter. A strong recommendation for anyone looking for an affordable and good single dose coffee grinder.

Compare coffee grinders

Eureka Mignon Zero - Single dose coffee grinder, Eureka Mignon Zero 65 All Purpose, Varia VS3 2nd gen - espresso grinder and Macap M2M R mainly differ in the size and type of the grinding burrs, motor power, and container size. The two Eureka models use large, flat 55–65 mm burrs which provide faster grinding for both espresso and filter, and have higher power than Varia and Macap — this means faster throughput and more consistent results when grinding larger amounts. Varia VS3 has a small 30 g container and slower, conical 48 mm burrs that grind more slowly and can generate less heat buildup, which is practical for single dosing and shorter use. Macap M2M R is aimed at pure espresso use with 50 mm flat burrs and timed dosing, lower Anti-static function, and slightly lower grinding speed which can be suitable when you want stable time control over the dose.

If you brew both espresso and filter and want speed and capacity, one of the Eurekamodels is better thanks to larger burrs and higher power. If you choose small batches, single dosing, and minimal bean heating, the Varia VS3 is suitable. For pure espresso with timed dosing and a simple workflow, the Macap M2M R can be the right choice. Consider how much coffee you grind at a time, if you want portafilter direct grinding, and whether you prioritize speed or low grinding heat when making your decision.
