This makes the choice easier: start with the brewing method you use and get a fit tailored specifically to it.
Here you’ll find three clear options. For the Aiden Precision Coffee Maker, there are separate options for single brew and batch brew, with the main difference being the shape of the filter and the basket you brew in. For hand brewing with the Stagg XF dripper, there is a dedicated option with a higher profile than standard flat-bottom filters. If you want to choose quickly: select the conical option for individual cups, the basket-shaped option for larger brews, and the Stagg option if you brew pour over in XF format.

How do I know which filter fits my brewer?
Start with the brewer and brew basket, not the number of filters in the package. If you use the Aiden Precision Coffee Maker, there is one filter for single brew and another for batch brew. If you brew with a Stagg XF dripper, choose the filter made specifically for that model.
What is the difference between conical and flat-bottom filters?
The difference is primarily about fit. The conical option is made for the single-brew basket of the Aiden Precision Coffee Maker, while the flat-bottom format is used for larger batch-brew baskets. The Stagg XF variant also has its own, taller design that differs from standard flat-bottom filters.
Are Aiden Flat Bottom Batch Brew Filters only compatible with Fellow?
No. They were developed for the batch-brew basket of the Aiden Precision Coffee Maker, but are also described as compatible with standard 8–12 cup basket filters and Melitta 8–12 cup basket filters. This makes them a good choice even if you are looking for the same format outside Fellow's own brewer.
How many filters are included in each package?
Aiden Single Brew Filters contain 40 filters, Aiden Flat Bottom Batch Brew Filters contain 50 filters, and Stagg XF Dripper Filters contain 45 filters. If you brew daily, it may be worth choosing based on both the correct format and how quickly you usually use them.
