By slowly dripping ice-cold water through ground coffee over several hours, this brewer extracts a smooth and sweet flavor unique to the cold brewing method.

Brewing process:

1. Dosing and grinding: To achieve the perfect balance, we recommend using 10 g of coffee per 100 ml of brewed coffee. For a 500 ml brew, use 50 g of coffee. Add the ground coffee to the stainless steel filter. Start with a standard grind size for drip coffee and adjust the grind size to fine-tune the flavor profile depending on your chosen coffee.
2. Water and ice: Fill the upper glass container with a mixture of ice and cold water. The amount depends on how much coffee you plan to brew.
3. Drip rate: Adjust the valve to achieve a drip rate of about 1 drop per second or every 1.5 seconds. It is important to adjust the drip rate during the brewing process to ensure even extraction, especially as the water volume in the upper container decreases. Aim for a rate of 40-60 drops per minute for best results.
4. Cooling: When brewing is complete, the coffee will be at room temperature. For best flavor, chill the coffee in the refrigerator before serving, or serve it over plenty of ice.

Brewing tips:

• The stainless steel coffee filter is designed to be used without paper filters, providing a clean and clear taste. But if you prefer, you can add a paper filter under the ground coffee or on top to distribute the water more evenly.
• Brewing time usually varies between 3-5 hours depending on desired strength and drip rate.
