Cleaning Instructions
The most hygienic way to clean HuskeeCups is to run them through the dishwasher to ensure they are washed at a minimum temperature and properly sanitized. We recommend avoiding loose sharp objects with HuskeeCups in the dishwasher as these can damage the cup’s surface. If you do not have a dishwasher, you can manually sanitize by following advice from Australian Food Standards, or effectively clean your HuskeeCup by:
- Using a damp microfiber cloth with a small amount of dish soap to remove stubborn marks, such as lipstick stains from HuskeeCups.
- For tough stains or odors, soak HuskeeCups in a basin of warm water with 1 teaspoon of espresso machine cleaner per cup, for 8 hours/overnight.
