Brew with the spout in to reduce all the mess from unruly espresso sprays, or remove the spout and brew bottomless to see your extraction and help you adjust your grind. With the Bottomless 2-in-1 Portafilter, cleaning is easy because you can rinse both sides of the portafilter.
