How to look after your MXA
A commercial grinder, such as the Macap M7D, Eureka Helios or BUNN MHG, grinds many kilos a week and needs a daily routine, the dose checked every morning and new burrs according to kg. Here is the schedule and the products we recommend.
Good to know about the Macap MXA
The MXA starts and stops automatically to keep the doser filled. Macap states that the grinder should be switched off overnight and when the premises are unattended.
The dose is adjusted with the knob in the doser: clockwise gives a smaller dose and anticlockwise a larger one. Never fill the doser more than two-thirds full.
Press in the locking pin and turn the adjustment ring with the motor off and no coffee between the burrs. Check that the ring is locked before starting the grinder.
