How to look after your Helios 80
A commercial grinder, such as the Macap M7D, Eureka Helios or BUNN MHG, grinds many kilos a week and needs a daily routine, the dose checked every morning and new burrs according to kg. Here is the schedule and the products we recommend.
Good to know about the Eureka Helios 80
Turn the dial clockwise for a finer grind and anticlockwise for a coarser grind, in small steps and with a little ground coffee between adjustments. Eureka warns that the grinder can jam if the dial is turned with the motor stopped.
Eureka states that the burrs should be checked and replaced if necessary after 250 kg of coffee. The burr maintenance reminder is switched on or off in the technical menu.
Wash the bean hopper with water and mild washing-up liquid and brush the burrs clean with a dry brush after opening the upper burr carrier.

- Empty the bean hopper and wash it by hand
