Care instructions
Dishwasher safe, but should not be used in the microwave. When using a dishwasher, avoid exposing the filter to pressure or heavy loads. Do not place the brewer near an open flame. Wash gently and avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool, as the surface can scratch.
Brew guide
For best results, we recommend using a conical paper filter and rinsing it with hot water before brewing. Measure about 60 grams of coffee for 4 cups and grind to a medium-coarse Size, roughly like sea salt. The water should be around 92–96°C. Start with a short bloom of about 30 seconds, then continue pouring slowly in circular motions until you reach the desired amount. A total brew time of about 3–4 minutes usually gives a clean and balanced cup. This also makes scs kinto a great choice for those who want a classic manual coffee brewer without unnecessary steps.
