The tamping mat 24x16 cm from the Italian Metallurgica Motta is made of 5 mm thick silicone. The edges are made of 8 mm to create extra sturdiness. Together with the vertical edge, this mat gives you full control when pressing the freshly ground coffee in your portafilter.
