Coffee Taster Tool – The Tool for Exploring Coffee's Flavor Nuances

Flavour Perception in Coffee Series, a collaboration between the Specialty Coffee Association of America and World Coffee Research, is designed to be a user-friendly and fun tool for coffee tasters. It helps those who want to analyze and describe coffee's flavor profiles in a thorough and structured way.

WCR Lexicon is the largest collaborative project ever on coffee's flavors and aromas. Developed at the Sensory Analysis Center at Kansas State University, the lexicon identifies 110 flavor, aroma, and texture attributes found in coffee, providing references to measure the intensity of each attribute.

These new posters build on the popular Coffee Taster's Flavour Wheel and include WCR Lexicon attributes and their references, making them invaluable tools for coffee tasters who want to refine their ability to describe coffee's complexity.
