Care instructions
The 15-liter plastic tank (PE), dispensing hose, and tap must be cleaned and disinfected after each day’s use. The tank can be cleaned repeatedly without being damaged. We recommend a cleaning agent intended for food equipment, or alternatively dishwasher powder.
To clean it, dissolve one tablespoon of cleaning powder in a cup of hot water and add it to the tank. Remove the beverage container from the insulated backpack with the dispensing hose and tap, rinse out any residue, and fill the tank with approximately 8 liters of hot water. Add the cleaning agent, shake the tank for 10 seconds, and let the solution work for 10–15 minutes. Then empty the entire tank through the dispensing hose, rinse the container twice with hot water, and let it air-dry before resealing and storing.
For especially thorough cleaning and disinfection, the final rinse can be completed with a biological water disinfectant.
