Instructions

Backflushing the Group Head:

1. Preparation: Remove the coffee filter from the group handle and replace it with a "blind filter".
2. Add the Tablet: Place a cleaning tablet in the group handle and insert it as About you brew espresso.
3. Brewing: Start the brewing for 10 seconds to dissolve the cleaning tablet.
4. Pause: Stop the machine for 10 seconds.
5. Repeat: Start and stop the machine 4 times – run for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds.
6. Rinse: Remove the handle and rinse the blind filter under running water from the machine. Turn off the water.
7. Reassemble: Put back the handle with the blind filter, start and stop the machine 10 times – run for 5 seconds, stop for 2 seconds to ensure proper rinsing.
8. Final Step: Remove the blind filter and insert the regular filter. Brew and discard an espresso shot before you start brewing normally again.

Cleaning the Filter and Group Handle:

1. Soaking: Place the group handles and filters in 500 ml of warm water with 2 cleaning tablets for 10 minutes.
2. Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
