Usage
- Prepare Water: Heat water to 185°F (85°C) with your kettle. Boiling water works if you don't have a kettle.
- Separate Plunger and Chamber: Pull them apart completely.
- Assemble Filter Cap: Insert a paper filter and twist the Filter Cap onto the Chamber.
- Fill with Coffee: Add 32-36 grams (or 2 generous scoops) of medium-fine ground coffee.
- Add Water: Pour water up to the #8 mark on the Chamber. For one cup, fill to the #4 mark.
- Stir and Wait: Stir gently for 5 seconds. Then insert the Plunger about 1/2 inch to create a vacuum and stop the dripping. Wait 30 seconds.
- Press: Press gently and evenly on the Plunger until you hear a hissing sound – your brewing is complete when the Plunger reaches the bottom.
- Cleaning: Remove the Filter Cap and push out the coffee grounds. Rinse the Plunger and Filter Cap under fresh water.
