Acme Tajimi Short Tumbler is created for those who appreciate both function and form – a glass-like vessel in porcelain where Japanese craftsmanship meets modern use. Made in Tajimi, Japan’s historic center for porcelain, this short tumbler combines temperature retention, tactile feel, and timeless aesthetics.
The cup is made of durable porcelain that naturally preserves temperature: filter coffee and green tea stay warm longer, while G&Ts, cocktails, and other chilled drinks remain pleasantly cool. The hand-polished, matte exterior provides a soft and stable grip, while the glazed interior ensures a smooth, controlled pour.
Japanese porcelain craftsmanship from Tajimi
The tumbler is produced by the venerable Maruasa Porcelain Factory, a family business run by the Matsubara family for over 100 years in Tajimi – often called Japan’s ceramic capital. The result is a vessel where each piece carries subtle variations in glaze and shape, a natural hallmark of genuine craftsmanship.
