Fausto Chrome from Rocket Espresso is a direct-grind espresso grinder with two adjustable programs and the option for manually controlled dosing. The new touch display simplifies programming and also looks really stylish. A powerful 500 W motor provides fast and precise grinding, double espresso dose in about 10 seconds. Solid micrometer adjustment for perfect grind size tuning.
Fausto is easy to clean both externally and internally so that the coffee grinder always looks good and the ground coffee always smells and tastes great. Fausto Chrome is equipped with an easily accessible power switch for simple on and off operation.
Fausto Chrome has a medium-sized bean hopper, holding 600 g of espresso beans, which means you can grind coffee for about 60 espressos per filled coffee grinder. The coffee grinder’s sleek and classic design makes Fausto look very good alongside a semi-pro espresso machine as the styling and design match and complement each other.
The intake of espresso beans on Fausto Chrome is adjusted with a flat plate that can easily be pulled away from or towards the grinder. If you want to remove the bean hopper from Fausto but there are still espresso beans inside, you can press the flat plate so that it covers the entire opening and then twist the bean hopper upwards. This can be advantageously done if you want to clean the grinder or suspect that a problem has occurred in the grinding mechanism. To clean Fausto, the bean hopper should be removed and a dose of Pulygrind should be poured into the grinding mechanism. Then place the bean hopper back in place. Grind out the Pulygrind crystals together with coffee until no crystals come out of the grinder, usually a couple of portions are required.
Fausto Chrome is equipped with flat burrs made of tempered steel measuring 65 millimeters in diameter, which provide short grinding times and long burr durability. The coffee grinder’s grind size can be continuously adjusted using a knob. If you want to adjust, turn the knob little by little. If the Fausto Chrome coffee grinder is reasonably well set, usually only a small change is needed. To check when the coffee grinder is correctly set, you can grind coffee for an espresso and then brew it. Experiment until the espresso brews at the right pace and time.
