Turn the lid every 4–5 days to maintain the vacuum seal. The jar is not dishwasher safe. For the Electric Atmos, the lid should be wiped with a damp cloth, while the container can be hand washed. Do not let liquid get into the lid and do not clean it under running water.
Use a damp, non-abrasive sponge and mild soap if needed. The gasket and filter can be removed and cleaned separately. Avoid coarse sponges or brushes that can scratch the surface. Do not store the jar upside down when it contains food. We recommend using it only for whole coffee beans or other dry goods that are not powdered, as ground coffee or powder can clog the valve. If corrosion occurs on the steel surface, it can be treated with a soft sponge and polish, then rinsed thoroughly.
