The story behind Kaffe Oxbacken – Mild dark roast

Oxbacken is inspired by the quiet district of the same name in Västerås – an area where tranquility meets character. In the coffee cup, it means a flavorful blend with both fruit and body, without bitterness.

Roasted by Björklunds Kafferosteri, Oxbacken is a coffee for those who want something between fruity and powerful – a blend where Colombian beans provide fresh berry notes, while Brazilian beans add body, sweetness and roundness.

The result is a coffee that works just as well as filter brew or espresso – and which tastes as balanced as the place it is named after.

Coffee's process

1. Origin

Oxbacken is a blend of 100% organic Arabica from Colombia and Brazil. The combination produces a coffee that combines fruity acidity with chocolatey body.

2. Sustainability

The beans come from organically certified farms, where sustainability and quality go hand in hand throughout the entire production chain.

3. Roasting

Mild dark roast – designed to provide fullness without being burnt or bitter. The roasting allows for both the fruity and nutty notes to come into their own.
