NEO Flex Integrated Pressure Gauge – Every NEO Flex comes with a custom pressure gauge. Use the gauge to understand the force you apply to the lever and whether you are brewing in the Espresso zone.

No Preheating Thin-Walled Cylinder – The brew cylinder in NEO Flex has been redesigned to remove 100 grams of stainless steel. This reduction in thermal mass means no preheating is required before brewing. Just add boiling water and lower the lever. This is a huge workflow improvement!

The frame is constructed from a high-strength, ultra-light polymer blend and it comes with two different portafilters, Flow-Control and Bottomless 2-in-1, to ensure every home barista can brew exactly how they want.

Flow-Control Portafilter – Perfect for espresso beginners, the Flow-Control Portafilter has a limited outlet port, meaning the portafilter builds the pressure required for espresso extraction. No adjustment needed – just simple espresso brewing.

Bottomless 2-in-1 Portafilter – Perfect when espresso brewers are ready to further control their extraction. This portafilter requires a high-quality espresso-capable grinder but allows home baristas to control the variables for each shot and ensure their espresso meets their exact standards.

Also included is a dosing cup, funnel, and preheating cover. NEO Flex is compatible with the pressure gauge kit.

What is needed to brew with NEO Flex?

NEO Flex is designed to be the easiest way to brew café-quality espresso at home. Home baristas using NEO Flex do not need specialized equipment, which is required for other Flair models.

To brew effectively with NEO Flex you need:

• Access to a kettle for boiling water – a temperature-controlled kettle provides more precision but is not necessary

• Access to freshly ground coffee beans – pre-ground coffee does not give the best results

• A coffee grinder – blade grinders do not give good results – but expensive grinders are not necessary for NEO Flex brewing with Flow-Control portafilter, any grinder works!

• NOTE: When using the Bottomless 2-in-1 portafilter, a high-quality espresso grinder is required.
