Rocket Espresso R9V (variable) commercial espresso machine is almost the same as Rocket R9 espresso machine. Unlike the R9, the R9V has programmable pressure profiling, constant saturated group head, intuitive touch screen and a cool look and design. With Rockets R9V you have control over each individual group from temperature with PID control, shot timer, pressure profiling with 5 different pre-programmed profiles that suit different types of rust and a touch screen for individual group. Each group has its own 1.9 L brew kettle.
About R9V's pressure profiling
Rocket Espresso R9V espresso machine comes with a controllable magnetic pump and has a 5-step brew pressure profiling where you can choose different brew pressure during five different time intervals throughout the brewing process. Through pressure profiling you have more control over the brewing and better than espresso machines that have built-in "Pre-infusion", then with pressure profiling you have the flexibility to give very low pressure at the beginning of the brewing which is also called "Pre-infusion" but then can choose to increase the pressure successively to 9 bar or to be able to lower the pressure when you see that the water flows very quickly through the coffee puck at the end of brewing to get a rounder taste in the coffee.
In the espresso machine there are 5 different pre-programmed profiles as well as a manual mode for profiling by controlling yourself with the upper rotary handle which has a potentiometer and an actuator, which gives the rotary handle precise and accurate control over the pressure. About you get a very good brew through the manual method, it is also possible to save it in the touch screen for future brews.
