How to look after your Dose Control Pro
A conical burr grinder, such as the Baratza Encore and Sette 30 or the Sage Smart Grinder Pro, is easy to look after: brush the spout, grind cleaning pellets regularly and occasionally lift out the ring burr and brush it. Here is the schedule and the products we recommend.
Good to know about the Sage Dose Control Pro
Grind the grinder empty, remove the bean hopper and lift out the upper burr. Brush both the upper and lower burrs and the outlet clean.
The upper burr is set to 6 at the factory. Move it one step at a time if you need a finer or coarser grind than the scale allows.
The grind time is set with the GRIND TIME dial in steps of one second.
