How to look after your Faustino 3.1
A flat burr grinder, such as the Eureka Mignon, Rocket Faustino or Macap M42, needs daily brushing, regular cleaning pellets and new burrs after the number of kilos specified by the manufacturer. Here is the schedule and the products we recommend.
Good to know about the Rocket Faustino 3.1
Turn the dial clockwise for a finer grind and anticlockwise for a coarser grind. Rocket states that the setting should be changed while the grinder is running, one or two steps at a time.
According to Rocket, the burrs should be checked and replaced if necessary after about 250 kg of ground coffee.
Wipe out the bean hopper at least once a week with a clean cloth to remove the oil from the beans. At the same time, brush old coffee out of the outlet and the burrs.

- Empty the bean hopper and wash it by hand
- Brush away coffee around the adjustment dial

- Brush the grinding chamber and the adjustment thread
- Check the zero point

After 250–500 kg
- Replace the burrs according to the manufacturer's kg figure
- Calibrate the zero point after replacement
- Run in new burrs with cheaper beans
