Maintenance
How to look after your Vario+
A flat burr grinder, such as the Eureka Mignon, Rocket Faustino or Macap M42, needs daily brushing, regular cleaning pellets and new burrs after the number of kilos specified by the manufacturer. Here is the schedule and the products we recommend.
Good to know about the Baratza Vario+
When you go finer with beans in the hopper, the motor must be running. Twelve micro clicks equal one macro click.
Baratza states that the ceramic burrs normally last around 10 years with ordinary home use. Never wash them with water.
With normal use, the grinder should be cleaned at least once a month, more often with dark-roasted or oily coffee.
-

-
Every month
