Maintenance
How to look after your H64
A single dose grinder with flat burrs, such as the Eureka Mignon Zero, Timemore Sculptor or Fellow Ode, should be blown out after every grind and kept free of static to keep retention low. Here is the schedule and the products we recommend.
Good to know about the Ascaso H64
Turn the dial clockwise for a finer grind and anticlockwise for a coarser grind, in small steps and with a little ground coffee between adjustments. Ascaso warns that the grinder can jam if the dial is turned with the motor stopped.
The H64 has continuous grinding and three timed doses (D1, D2 and dC), which are set in steps of 0.1 seconds in the settings menu.
Clean all parts that come into contact with the coffee at least once a week. Ascaso specifies replacing the burrs after 400–600 kg of coffee.
