The story behind Ethiopia Guji - 250g

Ethiopia Guji is a classic naturally processed coffee from the famous Guji zone in Oromia, Ethiopia.

Grown at altitudes between 1,900 and 2,000 meters by small-scale producers, on fertile soils and in a climate perfectly suited for coffee cultivation.

The coffee consists of original Ethiopian heirloom varieties and is naturally dried on raised beds, preserving its natural sweetness and developing notes of brown sugar, chocolate, and bergamot, with a long, softly balanced aftertaste and low acidity.

Roasted by Budhas Coffee Roastery, with a focus on highlighting the natural, elegant, and sweet characteristics of the bean.

The coffee process

1. Origin & Producers

The coffee is grown by small-scale producers in the Guji zone, Oromia, Ethiopia. The region is known for its rich soils and its ability to produce very aromatic and sweet coffees.

2. Process

Natural dried on raised beds – the berries are dried whole on traditional African beds for several weeks, which preserves the fruit sugars and gives the coffee a natural sweetness and body.

3. Roasting & Brewing

Roasted lightly to highlight the coffee's mild acidity, sweetness, and long aftertaste. Perfect for electric brewers and pour-over brewers such as V60, Kalita, and Pour over.
