Brewing Guide

  1. Prepare the Equipment:
    • Place the brewer on a stable surface.
    • Insert a paper filter into the brewer and rinse it with warm water to remove any paper taste and warm up the brewer.
  2. Measure and Grind Coffee:
    • Measure out about 60 grams of coffee beans for 4 cups.
    • Grind the coffee to a medium-coarse consistency, about like sea salt.
  3. Prepare the Water:
    • Boil water and let it cool to about 92-96 degrees Celsius.
  4. Pour Water Over the Coffee:
    • Place the brewer with the filter and ground coffee over a carafe or cup.
    • Start by pouring a small amount of water over the coffee to "bloom" it, releasing carbon dioxide and enhancing the flavor. Wait for about 30 seconds.
  5. Continue Pouring:
    • Continue pouring the water in a circular motion over the coffee, maintaining a steady and slow pace.
    • Pour until you have reached the desired amount of coffee, which should take about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Serve and Enjoy:
    • Remove the brewer and discard the filter.
    • Pour the brewed coffee into cups and enjoy your slow coffee experience.
