The story behind Costa Rica El Buerito - 250g

El Bueyerito is a soft and harmonious coffee grown by Roberto Jimenez on the farm of the same name in Miramar, Costa Rica.

With altitudes between 1,100 and 1,400 meters and fertile soil, the area has ideal conditions for developing flavorful Caturra beans.

This coffee is honey processed, which means that the coffee cherries are dried with parts of the fruit flesh remaining, resulting in a natural sweetness and smooth body.

In the cup, you are greeted by chocolatey, orange-like, and caramel tones, low acidity, and a well-balanced, sweet aftertaste.

A perfect choice for those seeking a mild, round, and easy-to-drink cup that works for most brewing methods.

The coffee process

1. Origin & Farm

The coffee is grown on El Bueyerito Farm in Miramar, Costa Rica, by Roberto Jimenez. The fertile soil and tropical microclimate create optimal conditions for high-quality arabica beans.

2. Process

Honey process – the cherries are lightly fermented and then slowly dried with parts of the fruit pulp remaining, which gives the coffee a naturally sweet and smooth character.

3. Brewing

Perfectly suited for pour-over brewers, electric brewers, and French presses. A light and well-balanced cup that allows sweetness to bloom.
