The story behind Finca Santa Maria - 250g

Finca Santa Maria is a coffee grown by 22 women from the Household cooperative in Santander, Colombia.

The coffee is of the Tabi variety, known for its disease resistance and high cup quality, and is grown in organically nutrient-rich soil at altitudes between 1,700 and 1,775 meters.

The coffee is washed, which gives a clear and clean flavor profile with notes of brown sugar, watermelon, orange, mandarin, grape, and subtle earl grey tea nuances. The balance between sweetness and fruitiness makes this coffee a true delight for hand brewing.

Roasted by Budhas Kafferosteri in their Giesen W15, with an Agtron value of 70.3, which highlights the coffee's natural sweetness and soft body.

Finca Santa Maria is run by 22 female growers in Santander, Colombia, focusing on sustainability and quality. The coffee is grown on fertile, organic soil and is hand-picked at optimal ripeness.

2. Process

The coffee is fully washed – a method that enhances the coffee's natural clarity and provides a balanced and clean cup.

3. Roasting & brewing

Roasted by Budha in a Giesen W15, with Agtron 70.3 for a light to medium roast that highlights the coffee's fruitiness and sweetness. Perfect for brewing with all types of pour-over brewers such as V60, Kalita or Pour over.
